Cupcakes have invaded the menus of many events and celebration lately. This is not surprising since it’s a relatively easy recipe with infinite combinations of ingredients that you can mix.
We decided to propose a recipe with Hifas da Terra Gourmet ingredients, a perfect idea for a fabulous New Year’s Eve dessert!
Ingredients for 8 cupcakes:
- 75 grams of unsalted butter
- 2 eggs
- 50 grams of brown sugar
- Hifas da Terra Chocolate of your choice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and vanilla
- 1 teaspoon of yeast
- 3 tablespoons of Hifas da Terra Honey
- 125 grams of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup milk without lactose
For this particular recipe, besides the Hifas da Terra chocolates, we have chosen the Hifas da Terra honeys, from chestnut or acacia trees and enriched with mushrooms, enzymes and vitamin C.
Make sure to include a creative cupcake decoration, perfect for the last night of the year.
Preheat the oven to 170-180 degrees.
Put butter and sugar in a big bowl and beat everything manually with the wire whisk. Add the eggs, the honey, vanilla and continue stirring. You can also add the half of the heated liquid chocolate.
Add to the mixture the baking powder, yeast, cinnamon and salt. Stir gently until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Spread the mixture in the molds and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. After that, let it cool outside the oven.
To the remaining part of the liquefied chocolate add a spoonful of honey and pour half a glass of milk. Mix and introduce it into the pastry bag.
When the cupcakes are cold, decorate the top with the mixture of the pastry bags.
Decorate the cupcakes however you want. We suggest caramel stars, different frostings or fresh fruit. Store in the refrigerator until serving.
