Through the Nutrigen 4.0 project, Hifas da Terra (HDT) will study the integral optimization of technologies 4.0 for the intelligent and sustainable production of nutraceutics
Hifas da Terra will receive 1.5 million euros to launch the Nutrigen 4.0 project, an initiative in which it will also participate ANFACO-CECOPESCA For the start -up of new 4.0 processes that allow optimizing the production of food accessories at pilot scale.This technological initiative will enhance nutraceutical production with a exhaustive control of the critical parameters that govern production, the concentration and the formula stabilization of the Hifas da Terra brand.As explained from the Department of R&D of Hifas DA Terra, the proposed processes will integrate the production of new secondary metabolites of several fungal species from the Private Biotech collection, applying sensory control and monitoring in real time, communication with warehouse control software, automated management of production orders and automated quality analysis protocols.For the development of the activities planned in Nutrigen 4.0 4.0 tools will be used and a complete study will be carried out on a theoretical basis that will cover the entire process, using NIR and hyperspectral image from the entry of raw material and monitoring of the product, through computational calculation tools, advanced mathematical simulation and Big Data for the study of fungal strains. Also, thanks to this project, the Safety and efficacy of prototypes generated based on the new industry 4.0 processes, and its Customization potential in humans in relation to their genomic profile. This knowledge will serve to Select the processes with greater industrial interest for their final implementation at the end of the project, improve the specificity of the proposed protocols and the marketing of new formulas with optimized processes.
Consortium Nutrigen 4.0
The consortium is formed by Hifas da Terra, Biotech with 20 years of experience in research, development and innovation in the development of nutraceutics from medicinal fungi, and ANFACO-CECOPESCA, Reference Technology Center that treasures research lines related to industry 4.0, Nir spectroscopy, biotechnology and molecular biology, among others.
Program Intelixent and Sosible Factory
The development of this innovation project is part of the public call of the Program 'Intelixent and Sosible Factory' convened by the Xunta de Galicia which will mobilize about 56.8 for the realization of a total of nine projects in sectors considered strategic for Galicia such as automotive, food, renewable energies, wood and logistics industry.
