It is a series of simple recommendations that we have collected from the questions that our biomedical department receives, but we also include the advice of our advisors in integrative oncology.
We have organized the contents in four blocks (food, oral hygiene, skin care, hair care and vaccination) to facilitate reading. However, before we begin, we want to remember that your attitude plays a fundamental role in your life and, of course, also in this new process.

How to feed you
The rainbow in your diet
We recommend abundant fluid consumption and follow a varied diet, rich in vegetables and fruits. On the other hand, it would be convenient to avoid the consumption of products made with refined white flours and, instead, bet on ecological integral flours with a higher fiber content.

As an alternative to white sugar, we propose the use of ecological sugar or ecological honey such as Reishi-Miel, Cordyceps-Miel either Blazei-Miel. These three honey help calm your throat will give you the energy push you need.
Water
Try to drink two liters of water a day, on all the days in which you have a chemotherapy session scheduled. To reach this figure you can opt for infusions. In this case we propose a Reishi infusion as Reishi-Infusion.

Hygiene

For this reason we choose Mico-Soap Reishi, Calendula & Lemon (with soothing action) and Mico-Soap Coriolus & Tea Tree Oil (with medicinal fungi extracts and tea tree oil). The latter is indicated for daily intimate hygiene and cystitis prevention, recurrent infection during chemotherapy.
Protect yourself from the sun
Avoid sun exposure between 12 and 18 in the afternoon and protect yourself from solar radiation at any time using glasses, hats, hats, etc. without forgetting the use of total protection creams.

Hair care
Neutral shampoo
Use a neutral (childish) shampoo and combs with thick and separated spikes.
Warm water
Wash the hair with warm water, performing very soft friction, and try to dry it in the air.
Dyes
If you use dyes, vegetable eligelos without ammonia.
What should you avoid?
Use hot air dryer.
Vaccines
You can vaccinate the flu, tetanus and pneumococcus (always under medical prescription). The effectiveness of the vaccine is greater if it is done before starting the treatment.
